Omnisend among the 500 fastest growing technology companies in EMEA
Deloitte, the international audit and advisory firm, has published its list of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in EMEA. For the first time, Omnisend, a Lithuanian start-up offering automated marketing solutions, has made it to the list.
Rytis Laurinavičius, CEO & Co-Founder of Omnisend
Deloitte’s annual ranking covers the fastest growing technology companies in the EMEA region. It is based on average revenue growth over the last three years. Omnisend’s overall average revenue growth for the period 2021-2023 is 460%.
“Being among the top 500 technology companies in the region is an extremely important recognition and an acknowledgment of our long and consistent work,” says Rytis Laurinavičius, CEO and co-founder of Omnisend. “We have been growing steadily over the last few years, which is not common in the technology sector, especially without external investment. But every day we are building a product that hundreds of thousands of businesses need, and that allows us to move forward with confidence.”
The Lithuanian marketing automation start-up has previously been ranked three consecutive times on the “Technology Fast 50” list of the UK’s fastest growing companies, also compiled annually by Deloitte.
Omnisend, which offers integrated marketing automation solutions for email, SMS and other channels, is one of the few startups in Lithuania that has been successful without external investment. This year, Omnisend was named one of Europe’s fastest-growing companies by an international business publication in the Financial Times. This is the third time that the start-up has received international recognition in a ranking that evaluates financial data.
The company has offices in the US and Lithuania and employs more than 220 people. Omnisend’s main offices are in Vilnius and Kaunas.
Dominated by software companies
Software companies dominate this year’s Deloitte ranking, making up almost half (47%) of the list — more than 230 companies. However, media and entertainment companies, including Omnisend, have the highest average revenue growth of 3,225%. Financial technology companies are not far behind, with growth of 3,202%.
Meanwhile, the UK stands out geographically with 81 companies, ahead of Finland and Sweden, both of which have 50 companies on the list of fastest growing technology companies. Around 22 companies from Central and Eastern Europe made it into the top 100 of the “Technology Fast 500 EMEA” ranking.
Of the three Baltic States, Estonia is the only one not represented in the ranking this year. One company from Latvia was included in the list, while Lithuania, although founded in the UK, is represented by Omnisend.
