Lithuanian startup ratings: highest tax contributors are Vilnius-based companies

In the third quarter of the year, a total of 17.7 thousand people worked in Lithuanian startups. The average salary in the startup sector currently amounts to 3.8 thousand euros before taxes, it grew by 12% or 400 euros during the year, according to the association Unicorns Lithuania.
Active startups in Lithuania paid 92 million euros in taxes in the third quarter of 2023 – 15% more than a year ago, but 5% less than the previous quarter.
TOP 5 Lithuanian startups by amount of taxes paid – all Vilnius-based companies (Q3 2023):
1. Wargaming – 6.8 million euro
2. Nord Security – 6.2 million euro
3. Vinted – 6.1 million euro
4. Kilo Health – 3.3 million euro
5. Baltic Classifieds Group – 3.2 million euro
According to Unicorns Lithuania, 8 more startups also exceeded the 1 million euro tax threshold in a quarter: Oxylabs, Bored Panda, PayRay Bank, Gurtam, Flo, Surfshark, Planas huliganas and Omnisend.
Vinted (1372), Nord Security (1210), Wargaming (969), Kilo Health (583) and Oxylabs (520) employ the most talent in Lithuania today.

1. Fullreach – 26.7 thousand euros (+ 426 compared to Q2 2023)
2. Changer4u – 13.9 thousand euros (+116% compared to Q2 2023)
3. Paysolut – 8.3 thousand euros (+32% compared to Q2 2023).
4. Perfection.AI – 8.2 thousand euros (+87% compared to Q2 2023).
5 . Tesonet Accelerator – 7.6 thousand euros (+3% compared to Q2 2023)
